My Wedding Workout Guide

Hey guys!

For today's post I'm talking about something a little different... fitness!!! I have never been a big exerciser, but when I found out I had a gluten allergy I decided I wanted to get into a workout routine, and then when I got engaged I decided I would get serious about it! Let's be real, though, I definitely am no personal trainer, but I have figured out what works for me and I wanted to share my top 5 tips with you all!

1. Find a workout buddy

I love to have someone to workout with! No matter if it's your best friend or boyfriend, having someone there to keep you consistent and motivated is a huge essential. I love to work out with my best friend, Madison, who also happens to be my maid of honor! She is super in to fitness, and is a huge help when it comes to figuring out a balance and what works for me! She's basically my personal trainer, and I tell her all the time to do it for real!

2. Cardio eventually gets better

I used to HATE running, but now it's the one part of my workout routine that I do consistently and enjoy, like WHAT?! I run about 4 miles a day, but I def walk some of it. It really does get easier, so stick with it and you will see results!

3. Wear cute workout clothes

I just do better on my workout if I feel like I have on a cute outfit, simple as that! I get most of my clothes from Lululemon because I feel like theirs is definitely the cutest, but I have been thinking about getting these leggings from alo yoga, too! Also, good running shoes are an essential. I ALWAYS wear these shoes to workout! Parker got them for me and I love them so much! I'm thinking about buying them in another color soon!

4. Get wireless headphones

These were a game changer for me. I can just put my phone away and run without having to worry about anything! I used to get so tired of dealing with wires, and These headphones made my life so much easier.

5. Workout at home

I am a firm believer in making workouts easily accessible, and some days I just don't feel like going to the gym. On these days I do Blogalaties! Literally you just search it on youtube and choose your workout! My favorite is the extreme abs, but they are all great! I also like to take my dog on walks or just run in the neighborhood, but when it comes to building muscle, Blogalaties is my go-to!
