My #1 Transitional Clothing Item For Fall

Hey guys!

I dont know about you, but I'm majorly struggling to pick out outfits with the current weather situation going on in Memphis right now. I have been stocking up on loads of sweaters and scarves, but also some transitional pieces! I can't help but buy all the cute fall clothes that are in store right now, but let's be real, nobody is wearing those cute, oversized sweaters when it's 90 degrees. In this post, I'm going to show you all how I am dressing for this weather and my number one piece of clothing that is getting me through this awkward weather transition.

So my number one transitional clothing item is..... A JEAN JACKET! I recently picked this one up for under $90 and I am in love. It doesn't have any frills to it, and the color is spot on! It is the perfect basic that every girl needs in her closet to wear every singly day. It is a great layering piece and makes any summer dress look a little bit more seasonally appropriate!

For this look I decided to wear a basic, grey t-shirt dress. I wore this dress ALL THE TIME in the summer, and I didn't want to give it up in the fall. This jacket made it look totally perfect for fall, but with it still being so hot out, it kept me cool, too! I love how this jean jacket made my basic t-shirt dress look more stylish and turned it into more of an outfit.

For accessories, I paired this look with my all-time favorite necklace by VSA! I have been collecting these for years and I love what they add to an outfit. Definitely a guilty pleasure jewelry piece for me!

My purse is one of my faves, too! I got this for graduation from my aunt! She's also the same person that started my love for Hermes, so she always keeps me looking stylish.

For shoes, I wore these denim, knotted slides to tie the whole look together! Haha I say that... but really I wear them because they are SO comfortable. They are also on sale!!

Thank you guys so much for reading my post! I had so much fun writing it, and look for a new post this Wednesday! It may or may not be featuring something fitness related... like what?!

xoxo, Mallory
