Happy Friday! I’m seriously always counting down the days until the weekend! In today’s post I'm going to be telling you guys about last weekend when I went to Oxford! I hadn’t been back since I graduated, which was a full year and a half ago, so to say it was nostalgic is an understatement! I think it was the ultimate weekend in Oxford, so keep reading to see a few of my favorite things to do on a weekend trip to my favorite college town!
WHERE TO STAY:
You guys, I have never experienced interior design envy like I did when I entered The Graduate. You all know I have a mild… more like major obsession with all things light pink, and they have pink wood floors! And on top of that, their lobby is such an incredible place to hang out, get drinks, take pictures, get coffe, etc.
The room I stayed in was SO cool and funky! I didn’t feel like I was in a hotel, but more like a custom air bnb because everything was so unique and fun! The bed was so comfy, and the location was so perfect for everything we wanted to do! They were so nice and even gave e a welcome bag with all kinds of goodies. I have wanted to stay at The Graduate ever since they opened, and it was the most fun experience!
WHERE TO EAT:
What is Oxford without the food? Like honestly it is arguably the best part! I’m going to list a few of my faves, and put a * by the ones that we ate at over the weekend with GREAT GF options.
Oxford Grill House
Chicken on a Stick
WHAT TO DO:
Obviously the square is a highlight! I love to walk around and go into all the cute shops! My personal favorite for clothes are Cicada and Village Tailor!
At night it’s always fun to get drinks somewhere! Parker and I went to Boure and he got a Pickle Martini hahah! Everyone in Oxford LOVES them but I just can’t get on board, so I got a pomegranate martini instead!
Another fun place to go is the rooftop at The Graduate! They have amazing Frose and tons of good food! This was my go-to spot in college, and I was so happy to go back! It was just as great as I remembered.
You guys, going back over the weekend made me seriously miss college and Oxford! It is such a fun town, and if you go please let me know if you do any of these things! A huge thank you to the Graduate for letting me stay at their hotel! I honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
Be looking for a skincare post soon!
