Engagement Shoot Outfit Tips

Hey guys!

So I know I have done a post about this in the past, but I figured there are SO many cute things in stores right now that I wanted to do an updated one for all the new brides!

So my first advice is to not be afraid to wear color! But when you are wearing color, be sure to stick to the color pallet of the season your save the dates will be sent out. For example, my save the dates were taken in the summer, so we wore fall colors! But if you are not using the photos for save the dates, I've got you covered too!

Next is to wear something you feel good in. This sounds obvious, but I don't think a photoshoot is a time to take chances with your wardrobe. Wear what flatters you! I personally love anything that flows because it has great movement in photos!

Bring a prop! I have seen some stunning engagement photos with flowers, smoke bombs, balloons, and more, and they make such unique photos! just make sure the colors look good with your outfit.

Dress

Don't be afraid of prints, just make sure they aren't too small. This mostly goes out to boys, but sometimes girls too. Men's button downs often have tiny check patterns, which look crazy on camera, so always stay cautious of that!!

Dress

And my last one! Coordinate with your partner, but not too much. You don't want to look like you are taking beach pictures! Wear complimentary colors or one stay neutral and one be bold!

I hope this post helped some of you guys! I have been seeing people get engaged alllllll over Instagram lately, so I thought it would be fun to give this topic an update!

xoxo, Mallory
